First NHL Goal
Bobby Orr’s professional hockey career started in 1966 with the Boston Bruins. It was no secret that he was as powerful an offensive threat as he was a defensive guard. During his second game with the Bruins, Bobby Orr scored a goal against the Montreal Canadians – his first goal in the big leagues! The Bruins took the Habs 3-2 that night, and it was this game that began Bobby Orr’s fierce, high-scoring career.
The puck displayed on this plaque is the actual puck that Bobby Orr put in the net in October of 1966. Stop in to the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame to see this classic piece of memorabilia along with other momentous tokens from Bobby Orr’s unparalleled career.
