Located amidst the 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay and 2.5 hour drive north of Toronto, the Town of Parry Sound offers an exceptional quality of life. Join us as the Front of House Coordinator at our Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible to provide support to the events and program functions including box office scheduling and reporting, volunteer scheduling and oversight, supervision at performing arts events, bar and concession management, contract management and records management.

Requirements:

College diploma in General Office Administration or equivalent.

Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and ability to perform multiple, concurrent tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and public relations skills,

Excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (including word, excel, outlook) and ticketing related software

Experience and demonstrated proficiency in managing a volunteer program.

Experience in a performing arts environment an asset

Terms & Benefits:

This is a permanent full-time 35 hour/week job, with a starting salary of $48,500 plus annual cost of living and performance based increases.

Subject to change according to opening hours, the usual work week is Tuesday-Saturday 10 AM – 6 PM with some shift work required.
